I’m two weeks post an abdominal hysterectomy. The first couple of days my tummy was very sore and I couldn’t cough or laugh. I have a nice BIG smile above my pelvic area. My muffin top is scary. Well, ladies I don’t know if you could please give me some insight. About one week after surgery I started having pain in my legs and headaches, so I rushed to the ER 3 times for them to tell me it was nothing. I don’t have a fever, in fact my temperature is lower than I like between 96.8-97.9. I have abdominal cramps that rest in the groin of my leg. I just don’t feel good. When do I start feeling like myself. I’m so nervous all the time. Please give me some answers. I go for my 2 week check up tomorrow.

I had a TAH/BSO 23 days ago. The first 2 weeks were harsch. Could not for the life of me lay on my sides. Coughing, sneezing, and laughing i held in, as they all caused massive burning pain. Unfortunately, I do have a belly flap over my incision, which I’m grateful is only 3 in., and I have a strong feeling that it is there to stay. I get fatigued quite easily, but B12 injections help a bit with that issue. My bowel motility still isnt’t back to normal, but stool softeners and laxatives have been a God send. I am sore, but its nothing I can’t handle. Since I had my ovaries removed as well, I smacked into surgical menopause. Hot flashes, night sweats, crying fits, insomnia. I’m now looking into natural hormonal therapy. So, overall, for only 3 weeks post-op, I’m not doing too shabby. This sure beats being in severe pain daily. God bless! You’ll be fine in time…

Not sure what everyone is talking about? Two week post op appt.? I had a TAH almost 3 weeks ago and don’t have to see my doctor again for another 5 weeks. I guess they feel like I am okay?

Hi would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m
planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
