I did NOT create my fibroid blog to make friends

Yeah, that’s the other thing that is bothering me. I don’t consider any of you my “friends”. I didn’t originally create my blog to be a “social” place. I just wanted to get the information out (science, latest research, etc.). I’m happy that a number of you find support here but it’s really getting out of hand. I’m not going to tolerate it any longer.

Now, EclecticGeek does have a sense of humor. The blog isn’t 100% science. I add goofy posts every now and again. I have those posts because I realize we are human and need a laugh. What I find strange is that some of you won’t go in these posts and “chat”. Instead you add “chatty” comments elsewhere. I don’t have time to read through chatty comments on a serious post. I am forced to do it anyway just in case someone has a question that would best be answered by visiting the Forum or another page. That takes my time away from the women all over this site who really need help and don’t have time to chat.

Time for the “stepping on” of toes. I will do things in the near future that will probably offend some of you. Some of you may leave and NEVER return. Sometimes, I wish I cared more but I don’t. I blogged for several months (basically here by myself) before a significant number of people decided to show up. I don’t have a problem speaking before a smaller audience. If there are only a handful of women who see my vision and want to participate, so be it. I don’t have any problem with that. I have a lot I wish to get done with this fibroid issue. If you can’t see that, it’s your loss.

So, nope. Not doing this for friends or to have people like me. I am doing this to help my fibroid family. If I have to chastise some members to save the whole family, I do so willingly. I don’t consider any of you my friends but all of you my family and will do everything I can to help and protect you.

Thank you again for your understanding.
